The Kid’s Clothing ReSale started in 2002 when my sons were quite young, the economy was strong and VCR’s were in their prime. Through these years, the ReSale raised over $80,000 which was donated to support children with rare diseases. As it turns out, the 2015 was to be the last ReSale.
As we all know, our lives grow busier and more hectic as our children grow up and, thus, I will not be doing another ReSale.
I am quite proud of the ReSale, something I administered while fourteen years of donors, volunteers and shoppers did the bulk of the heavy lifting.
I am entirely grateful to all of you and know my life has been enriched by meeting and getting to know you. This will be what I will miss the most.
Best of luck as your children and grandchildren continue to grow!
Fondly and gratefully,
Lee Ann Bruno
PS I am happy to continue to take donated clothing and will deliver to a church on the Attleboro / Pawtucket line which distributes to LOCAL families in need through an onsite and free second hand clothing store.
PSS If you have donated clothing this year I still have the clothing and can return it to you or simply donate it the church noted above.
